How the Link Works
An infrared camera that connects to a monitor will utilize a simple connection process. The camera will work with a small antenna that projects a signal. That signal can be read by the monitor that will pair up with it.
The receiver inside that monitor will take in the signals produced by the camera. This will then project the heat signatures or other details that might be found on the camera. You can make this work almost instantly in many cases.
How Is the Screen Laid Out?
The screen that connects to one of these thermal image cameras will be rather small in size in most cases. This might be just a few inches in size and would come with a 640x480 resolution in some instances. Still, the screen would be easy for you to carry around.
The screen may be laid out in a tablet-like format as well. You can quickly transport the screen from one spot to another with this layout. The unit would be powered through a battery.
Review the Range
This perimeter security solution can help you identify things in many spaces, but you must look at the overall range that the camera can work with. You need to keep the two pieces in the FLIR setup together to ensure the items will not lose their connection.
