The average Australian typically faces many risks on a daily basis. These risks could take place at any time and on any occasion. As such, you might never be able to predict or forecast them accurately enough. But, once they manifest themselves, they will affect the life of the individual in a significant manner. For instance, a person could sustain serious illnesses or injuries at any time. Or, the person could be involved in an accident while travelling. Dealing with the eventualities of situations like this can be quite difficult. This is especially so in grave circumstances where the injured or unwell person is the sole earning member of the family. However, over the course of a lifetime, such risks are a part and parcel of everyday life. As such, the number of such incidents will be similar over a lifetime for many people.
