Review Entry Points
You must get cameras applied around all the entry points to your property. These include front and back doors alike plus any windows that might be accessible from the ground. Having cameras that work well on most surfaces is always a plus for when you need to monitor more items anywhere.
Check On Storage Areas
You can use perimeter security cameras around any storage areas you need help with. These include cameras that may be placed outside of a warehouse and even some that will go around the inside. Such items will help identify when vehicles and people might move into a property.
Machine Rooms Need Cameras
Don’t forget to add your cameras to a machine room if you have one. An infrared camera may be utilized to see what is happening around any machines used to power up a room or manage other functions of value. The heat signatures produced by your machines can be reviewed to see if any of these units are not working as well as you might have hoped.
High-Traffic Areas Work
You can always get a camera added in a high-traffic space. You can use this in a hallway or entry point among other spaces. More importantly, the camera may work in a space that might be dark but could still be a space where lots of people might be found in.
Be aware of how your perimeter security needs can be supported through many FLIR cameras. Check with Infratherm to see how well you can get a camera ready for your security requirements.
